Hello! It’s me, Ching, I’m a Registered Nurse by profession, but I also love teaching. I have been helping students learn English for several years, and it is very fulfilling to share my knowledge with them. I believe that learning the language is their gateway to the world. It can open global opportunities to those who can communicate using it. As a teacher, I must encourage and motivate my students to keep learning more and consistently improve.
I started as a private English tutor for several Asian students. I help them with their homework and guide them as they review their lessons. I do my best to encourage and motivate them to develop all their skills. We often do “free talking” and discuss almost everything and anything using English. They just really wanted to practice and use their speaking skills more. To them, the ultimate goal is to master and speak English fluently. I always assess their skill level first then we start working together and develop the areas they want to improve. Each has different strengths and weaknesses based on their knowledge and skills. Of course, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, comprehension, and tenses are essential aspects of the language. It’s wonderful to get to know and help students from different parts of the world.
I am a passionate teacher and a learner at the same time. I aspire to help my students reach their learning goals as much as I try to achieve mine. I am very patient with my students.
